Over the past few years, surveys have revealed that companies that provide free food have a happier workforce than those that don’t.
While the majority (over 50%) of full-time employees are “extremely” or “very” happy with their current job, that number jumps to over 65% among those who have access to free food, and here are some of the reasons:
Employees Feel Valued: Employees love to get free stuff, but it’s even better when that free stuff is actually useful and helpful to them. Whether you’re providing completely complimentary snacks or just picking up part of the cost, your employees will be thankful that you are giving them useful, valuable tools to fuel their bodies.

If you have to compete for good candidates in the job market, then this may also help with your Company’s brand recognition on sites such as Glassdoor.
